Field Rules.
Chaos Corps Airsoft Field Rules
1. Airsoft is a GAME.
remember we are here to have fun
2.the Staging Area.
● Barrel covers are required when off the field
● NO magazines should be inserted in any replica (this includes pistols, holstered or not)
● All HPA lines are to be disconnected when off the field
● NO shooting or testing of replicas in the staging area, players are to do this at the chrono area ON the field
● NO FLAGGING/HORSEPLAY
● Do not leave trash in the parking lot, in the staging area, or the porta johns.
3. Eye/Face Protection:
● All players are required to wear full seal, ANSI impact rated eye protection. NO EXCEPTIONS!
● Players 18+ are not required to wear lower face protection, but it is highly recommended
● Players 16+ are required to wear lower face protection
● Any player younger than 16 must wear full face mask
● NO MESH EYE PROTECTION
4. Entering/Exiting Field Procedures: a. Entering the Field
● Eye/face protection must be on PRIOR to walking on the field and must STAY ON at all times while on the field.
● If you are experiencing fogging issues or need to adjust your eye protection/face mask please follow exiting procedures and exit the field. REMOVAL OF EYE PRO IS NOT TOLERATED.
● Once on the field, barrel covers may be removed and magazines may be inserted into replicas. Any HPA lines may be connected. b. Exiting the Field
● All magazines are to be removed (this includes pistols)
● Disconnect any HPA lines from your replicas
● Clear your chamber and put on your barrel cover BEFORE exiting the field
● EYE/FACE PRO STAYS ON UNTIL COMPLETELY OFF OF THE FIELD!
5. ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK IN AT THE CHRONOGRAPH PRIOR TO PLAY!
AEGs are chrono’d with .20g bbs,
HPA/Snipers are chrono’d with .40g bbs
6. SEMI-AUTO ONLY! Only exceptions: LMGs and full auto capable pistols (with stock mag)
Full auto in one seconds bursts (one Mississippi) , then one second off,
no mag dumping. All full auto is limited to 24 RPS. No binary triggers are allowed.
RIOT SHIELDS NOT PERMITTED
7. Minimal Engagement Distance There is no bang rule at Chaos Corps Airsoft.
Unless you are given an MED at chrono, you may fire at an enemy player from any distance.
MED FOR EACH WEAPONS CLASS:
Rifleman (up to 1.3J) – NO MED (1.3J-1.5J) – 10 ft MED, No buildings
LMG (up to 1.5J) – 50 ft MED (FULL AUTO ONLY)
BOLT ACTION SNIPER (up to 2.32J) – 75 ft MED
FULL-AUTO PISTOL (Must be using stock mags, no HPA adapter or drum mag)
Semi-auto — NO MED
Full-auto — 10 ft MED
8. Hit Calling Procedures
A. What counts as a hit? Any bb that strikes you or your gear will count as being “hit” and eliminated from gameplay.
B. How to call out: When hit a player is to yell “HIT!” very loudly, present a dead rag, and assume a non-threatening position.
C. What does not count as a hit? I. Ricochet II. Gun Hit (must be current replica in use) III. Confirmed Friendly Fire (Grenades will count as a hit, regardless of which team you are on) Day game only, friendly fire will count during night games
D. How to avoid being overshot:
H. DEADRAG II. Look behind you, the enemy could be firing at a friendly player behind you III. If you are in a high traffic area of the field, you may “bleed out” at your respawn
9. Knife Kill/Stealth Elimination
● Any player may eliminate an enemy player by tapping them with their hand or with a replica knife/sword (that is approved by staff) and saying “Knife kill” or “melee kill”.
● The player that has been eliminated will NOT say hit, they will just silently pull out their dead rag and bleed out/go to respawn. This rewards sneaky players.
10. Grenades
● Grenades must make an audible “bang”
● Grenades do not have to hit you with a bb ● Grenades have a 10 ft kill radius
● Grenades will eliminate any player inside a room
● Only way to escape is to run or hide behind hard cover (i.e. spool, wall, vehicle, building) NO 40mm launchers, NO Taggin Rounds
11. Respawn/How to return to gameplay
When “hit” there are two ways to return to gameplay:
I. Respawn – The “hit” player will go to their team’s designated starting point. Once at the “spawn” they are “alive” again and can return to gameplay.
Medic – For some game modes, medics will be in play. A medic can “revive” hit players by tapping them 30 times (30 second process) Any player may move a hit player out of harms way/to cover. ONLY A MEDIC MAY REVIVE! Some game modes will also have a “bleed out” in play. When a player is hit they are to remain in place for 30 seconds before heading back to respawn.
12. Shooting:
● No blind fire will be tolerated
● No trigger feathering
● No shooting under walls
● No shooting over field walls
● Try your best not to overshoot
● No shooting over black mesh wall 13. Do not climb over walls/obstacles.
14. CRACK/HOLE SHOOTING:
If you can not put your arm through a hole or crack you may NOT shoot through or receive fire from that hole or crack.
15. DEAD PLAYERS DO NOT TALK!
16. NO PHYSICAL OR VERBAL AGGRESSION WILL BE TOLERATED!
